APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR
Actif Group plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Julian Ghinn (37) as
its new Finance Director with effect from 2nd April 2002. Julian joins the
Group from First Universal Technology where he was Chief Financial Officer.
Previously he has held posts at Virgin Retail Limited, variously, as IT/Business
Development Director and Finance/IT Director among others.
Julian replaces Simon Banfield who leaves the Group on 15 March 2002 to take up
a new position in the house building industry.
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Evans, Chief Executive, Actif Group plc,
said: 'I am delighted to welcome Julian to the Group. He has a strong
background in a number of disciplines in the retail sector and we look forward
to his contribution to Actif Group's future going forward. We wish Simon every
