                                 AGM STATEMENT

                         Strong Q2 Trading Performance
                       Several High Value Tenders Secured

At today's Annual General Meeting of Dawmed, the medical devices company which
designs, manufactures, sells, distributes and services healthcare
decontamination equipment used by Secondary Care NHS Trust hospitals, private
hospitals and Primary Care practitioners and clinics, which is to be held later
today, the Executive Chairman, Kevin Gilmore, will provide the following update:

'Although it is less than a month since your Company's Annual Report and
Accounts were distributed to all shareholders, I am pleased to present a trading
update relating to the first two quarters of the current financial year as
follows:-

KEY POINTS:

  • Several high value tenders won, including the ground breaking turnkey pr
    oject at East Kent Hospitals;

  • Overall historic level of sales substantially more buoyant than the
    equivalent period last year;

  • Abundance of activity in quoting and tendering for more new orders;

  • Performance of sales of Wassenburg equipment particularly strong;

  • Chemical sales substantially up and continuing to rise;

  • New distributorship appointment for new top quality product; and

  • New export distributor in Europe close to appointment.

It is pleasing for me to report that the first half of the current financial
year appears to have exceeded the Board's expectations, with the substantially
increased turnover achieved and the degree of recovery from the disappointing
effects of last year's industry sector unprecedented spending slowdown, which
led to the consequential and unprecedented loss suffered by your Company last
year.

So far as the UK is concerned, there can be no doubt that, although a more
normal level of NHS business appears to have been resumed, it is your Company's
amended strategy that has been largely responsible for its considerable success
in recent months and hopefully for the continuation of that success during the
second half of this year.

As part of your Company's efforts to increase the penetration into Europe of
export sales, not least to escape the partial dependence upon the NHS, your
Company has recently instigated a new offensive to appoint further distributors
for its products in the foreseeable future. In particular, the Company is close
to the first such appointment which it hopes to be in a position to detail to
shareholders in due course.

I am also pleased to announce that the Company has been appointed as exclusive
distributor for Meiko bed pan washer machines in England, Scotland and Wales,
thereby adding a further top quality product to the Company's portfolio.'
