               Dawnay, Day Carpathian PLC ('DDC' or the 'Company')

                        Director's Dealings - Amendment


In the directors dealing announcement released on 21 June 2006 it was
erroneously stated that Peter Klimt was interested in 643,212 contracts for
difference through Fitzgerald Securities, however Mr Klimt is neither directly
nor indirectly interested in this vehicle. Fitzgerald Securities is an
investment vehicle connected with Guy Naggar, another Director of Dawnay, Day
Europe Limited.

Mr Klimt's interest in DDC as at 21 June 2006 therefore amounted to 11,487,060
ordinary shares in the Company, representing 7.90% of the Company's issued share
capital.

The full text of the amended announcement is set out below.


The Company has been informed that the following Contracts for Difference
('CFDs') were purchased in DDC.
