                                 AGM STATEMENT

At the Annual General Meeting of DawMed Systems plc ('DawMed'), the medical
devices company which designs, manufactures, sells and services washer
disinfectors used by NHS Trust hospitals, private hospitals and clinics, held at
12 noon today, the Chairman Kevin Gilmore, commented:

'During the current financial year, orders and sales of our traditional and
Wassenburg businesses have continued in line with market expectations, both
having benefited from the release of sales personnel from customer training
obligations.

'An increase in contracts for the regular maintenance, testing and validation of
installed equipment, together with new equipment installations and
non-contracted call out operations have all contributed to satisfactory levels
of service revenue and in addition, customer training has been established as a
stand alone service and profit centre.

'Notwithstanding the knock-on effects of delays occasioned by third party
contractors, our 'Clinic' benchtop washer disinfector dryer has progressed from
prototype to production and has been subjected to extensive and ongoing testing
with excellent results of function and reliability.   We have a UK distributor
network in place and marketing and sales activity are gaining momentum with the
first orders in house and awaiting delivery and installation dates. Feedback
from the market confirms that the Company's timing is right and that the machine
meets customers' technical expectations.'

All resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting were duly passed.
