With respect to Listing Rule 9.6.14 Admiral announces that Alastair Lyons,
Admiral's non-executive Chairman, has been appointed non-executive director of
Phoenix Group Holdings with immediate effect.

Mr. Lyons has been non-executive Chairman of Admiral since 2000 and intends to
continue in this role for the foreseeable future.
