Admiral Group plc ('Admiral') has today received notification that The Waterloo
Trust, of which David Stevens, a Director of Admiral, is a trustee, has today
sold 3,000,000 ordinary shares in Admiral, representing 1.14% of the total
voting rights of Admiral. The Waterloo Foundation's shareholding in Admiral
following this transaction is 6,884,000 shares, representing 2.65% of the total
voting rights of Admiral. The purpose of the sale by The Waterloo Foundation is
to realise funds to cover its anticipated expenditure over the foreseeable
future. As such, The Waterloo Foundation does not anticipate any further
disposal of its holding in Admiral in the foreseeable future.
Admiral has also today been informed that David Stevens purchased 200,000
ordinary shares in Admiral, representing 0.08% of the total voting rights of
Admiral, at a price of 950 pence per share. David Stevens's beneficial holding
in Admiral following this acquisition is 10,084,000 ordinary shares,
representing 3.84% of the total voting rights of Admiral.
