Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital


The Company on 3 October 2006 received notification in accordance with Section
198 of the Companies Act 1985 that as at 28 September 2006 The Capital Group
Companies Inc. (CGC) had increased its notifiable interest in the Company to
5.05% of the 0.1p Ordinary Shares. This represents an increase of 2,167,000
shares since the last notification filed on 12 June 2006.


The shares are held by a subsidiary of CGC, Capital Research and Management
Company forming part of holdings managed on behalf of investment clients.


The notifiable interest in 13,177,000 ordinary shares of the Company is held
