Accreditation of Educational Programme by RCN
Winsford, UK: Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc (AIM: AMS), the global
medical technology company, today announces that its Educational Programme for
minor wound closure has been accredited by the Royal College of Nursing
Accreditation Unit (RCN AU).
The programme enables UK nursing staff to gain an in-depth knowledge of closing
wounds by using tissue adhesives in the emergency room arena for treating small
cuts and trauma wounds.
The Educational Programme contains both theory and a practical skill session. At
the successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded a
certificate and gain two study hours towards their continuing professional
development.
Commenting on this announcement, Dr. Don Evans, Chief Executive of AMS, stated:

strong educational support to the clinical users of our products in the UK. The
accreditation of our wound closure Educational Programme by the RCN follows the
introduction of our basic woundcare education package which was made available
to general nurses last year.
