Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc ('the Company')

The Company received notification on 25 March 2004 from Merrill Lynch Investment
Managers Limited on behalf of certain of its discretionary management clients
that following a sale of 250,000 ordinary shares of 5p each ('Ordinary Shares')
in the share capital of the Company on 24 March 2004, BNY Trust Company Limited,
as trustee of the MLIT - UK Smaller Companies Fund, now holds 7,073,990 Ordinary
Shares, representing approximately 4.97 per cent. of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital.
