The Company received notification on 30 September 2004 from Newton Investment
Management Limited ('Newton') that, following a sale of 138,779 ordinary shares
of 5p each ('Ordinary Shares') in the share capital of the Company, Newton now
holds 19,800,020 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 13.94 per cent. of
