John Berry Resigns from the Board

Winsford 9 February 2000.  Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc (AMS) today
announced the resignation from the Board of the Company of John Berry, and the
retirement of Walter Christie; both non-executive directors.  John Berry
resigns with immediate effect and Walter Christie will leave the Board at the
end of March 2000.

These resignations are in line with the comments made at the time of the
Company's Rights Issue in November 1999, when it was indicated that the number
of non-executive directors would be reduced.

Don Evans, Chief Executive, commented:

'I would like to thank both John and Walter for all their support and advice
during their time with the Company and to wish them well in the future.'

He  added, 'The Board is committed to transforming AMS into a fully commercial
business and we remain confident in our ability to take advantage of the
growing consumer woundcare market.  At the same time we will continue to
develop additional applications for our core polymer technology.'
