Total Voting Rights

As at close of business on 30 April 2009, AMS' capital consists of 144,294,916 ordinary shares of 5p each ('Ordinary Shares') with voting rights. No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in AMS is 144,294,916.

The above figure (Ordinary Shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, AMS under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
