DIRECTORATE CHANGE

2002 has seen advertising become an integral part of ADVFN's business model and
a significant proportion of its revenue.

To reflect this achievement, ADVFN.COM Plc ('ADVFN') is pleased to announce the
appointment of Ray Negus as an Executive Director.

Ray Negus joined ADVFN in January 2001 to build ADVFN's in house sales group. He
has established ADVFN as the online media of choice for companies serving the
private investor.

Clem Chambers, MD of ADVFN commented, 'It's a general rule that first class
companies need to be first class selling organisations. Ray has given us both
strength and depth in this key part of our business. I am sure he will add the
same to the ADVFN board.'

There are no further disclosures required regarding the appointment of Mr. Negus
under Schedule 2 (f) of the AIM Rules of the London Stock Exchange.
