ADVFN announces launch of its Wireless service.
ADVFN announces the autumn launch of a wireless service for UK stock market
information.
Aimed at the new generation of mobile phones like the MMO2 XDA, ADVFN wireless
site gives investors the ability to get live stock market prices, news and trade
information on the move.
The new generation platforms have large colourful screens, fast connections, are
highly interactive and easy to use.
XDA users can examine how the site will look by logging into the following
addresses with an MMO2 XDA:

Clem Chambers ADVFN's managing director said, 'With the advent of powerful
mobiles with big colour screens like the XDA, the market for mobile share
information is set to expand quickly. ADVFN is positioned to take advantage of
the next generation of mobiles and has the technology in place to rapidly
provide ADVFN on these emerging platforms.'
Using IP and WEB technology, ADVFN can provide both US and UK real time share
price information to a global audience via its proven subscription model.
Wireless data is widely considered one of the key products to drive the future
of mobile phones. Data that has high value, is time critical and is pertinent to
high spending users is seen as the, so called, 'sweet spot' for this new market.
Real time share prices fit this profile perfectly.
The product will go into customer beta test in September and is planned to open
in November.
