CHEERFUL LIFTED BY TWO GOLD AWARDS
Cheerful Scout Plc, the AIM listed multi media and animations specialist, has
been awarded two gold awards for their work with leading management consultancy,
McKinsey & Company, in the annual ceremony held by the International Visual
Communication Association (IVCA).
Gary Fitzpatrick from Cheerful and McKinsey represenatatives, David Bishop and
Kevin Scarffe, collected gold awards for the Best Conference presentation and
Best Graphics The IVCA is the professional body for companies using film, video,
interactive media and live events as part of the communication process.
The function, at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, was attended by hundreds of
leading people from the £3bln industry representing companies affiliated to IVCA
including BT, Barclays, London Stock Exchange, Shell, Sony, and Telewest
Communications (amend the names as necessary).
Peter Litten, Creative Director of Cheerful Scout, said: 'The awards are a
wonderful endorsement for our business and the creative work we carry out for
our clients. We are committed to maintaining our cutting edge, developing
innovative products and building strong relationships with our clients.'
Cheerful, which listed on AIM in May 2002, specialises in editing corporate
programming, creating graphics and designing animations and special video
effects. The Company has diversified into commercial DVD including designing and
encoding titles for well known high street distributors. Clients include the BBC
and Channel Four.
