This morning Sterling confirmed that it had made an approach to the Board of
Fusion Oil & Gas plc, which may or may not lead to an offer from Sterling for
the entire issued share capital of Fusion Oil & Gas plc. With reference to this
announcement, and in compliance with Rule 2.10 of the City Code on Takeovers and
Mergers, Sterling has 378,557,990 ordinary shares of 1p each in issue (ISIN
GB0005299929).
