Finance Director Appointment

Amino Technologies plc (LSE: AMO), the Cambridge-based leader in digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, Internet TV and in-home multimedia distribution, announces the appointment of Julia Hornby as Finance Director with effect from 6 December 2010.

Julia is an experienced chartered accountant with over 15 years' experience in both private equity backed businesses and listed companies.

Previously Julia was Chief Financial Officer at CSC Media Group, one of the UK's largest broadcasters, and joins Amino from Smartsense Services Limited where she worked in a consultancy capacity advising on various projects in the social networking and career management sector.

Her other previous roles included Group Financial Controller at Lastminute.com, during the period when the company enjoyed exceptional growth.  She was also Interim Group Financial Controller at Mowlem plc, and Group Chief Financial Officer at TV Travel Group, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in 1992.

It is currently anticipated that Julia will join the Amino board in February following the release of the results for the year ended 30 November 2010.
