NOTIFICATION OF SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING
The Company received notification on 6 July 2004 from Fidelity International
Limited ('FIL') that FIL and its direct and indirect subsidiaries have a
non-beneficial interest in 5,257,306 ordinary shares in the Company, equivalent
to 10.30 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. The interest is
registered as follows:

Bank of New York 15,865
Chase Nominees 53,681
Bankers Trust 29,276
Citibank 61,178
The notification by FIL also comprises a notifiable interest of Mr Edward C
Johnson 3rd, a principal shareholder of FIL.
