ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON 1 MARCH 2006
The Board of Aberforth Geared Capital & Income Trust plc ("AGCiT") is pleased
to announce that all the resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting
held on 1 March 2006 were passed by Shareholders on a show of hands. A total
of 16,897,232 proxy votes were received, representing 48.3% of the 35,000,000
shares in issue (24,500,000 Income Shares and 10,500,000 Capital Shares), in
respect of the 4 resolutions at the meeting. Of the proxy votes cast for or
against the 4 resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting over 99.9%
were cast in favour of such resolutions or were left to the discretion of the
Chairman and would have been cast in favour of such resolutions by the
Chairman. There was no Special Business conducted at the Meeting.
