White Nile Ltd, the AIM listed oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Seymour Pierce as its Nominated Adviser and Broker
with immediate effect. Seymour Pierce is replacing Numerica Capital Markets Ltd
('Numerica') which ceased to act as a nominated advisor for AIM companies from
close of business yesterday.

White Nile Chairman Phil Edmonds said: 'The Board wishes to thank the team at
Numerica for all the hard work and great support they have given White Nile.
They were instrumental in assisting the Company in the admission process and
