The enclosed announcement (the "SSE Announcement") was published by Air China Limited ("AirChina") on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on 15 December 2020, which contains combined operating data for November 2020 for Air China and its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Group"). This announcement enclosing the SSE Announcement is made by Air China pursuant to Rules 13.09 and 13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "ListingRules") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined in the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

ANNOUNCEMENT ON KEY OPERATING DATA OF NOVEMBER 2020
In November 2020, Air China Limited (the "Company"), and its subsidiaries (the "Group") recorded decrease in combined passenger traffic (measured by revenue passenger kilometers (the "RPK")) as compared to both the same period last year and last month. Passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometers (the "ASK")) recorded a year-on-year decrease of 32.2% and a month-on-month decrease of 6.8%. Passenger traffic recorded a year-on-year decrease of 38.5% and a month-on-month decrease of 10.0%. For domestic routes, passenger capacity recorded a year-on-year increase of 8.5% and a month-on-month decrease of 6.6%; and passenger traffic recorded a year-on-year decrease of 1.6% and a month-on-month decrease of 9.9%. For international routes, passenger capacity decreased by 11.6% and passenger traffic decreased by 17.0%, as compared to last month. Passenger capacity on regional routes decreased by 3.1% and passenger traffic increased by 8.2%, as compared to last month. The overall passenger load factor was 72.1%, representing a decrease of 2.5 percentage points as compared to last month. The passenger load factor for domestic routes decreased by 2.7 percentage points and for international routes decreased by 2.7 percentage points as compared to last month, and the passenger load factor for regional routes increased by 5.0 percentage points month-on-month.
In terms of cargo operations, cargo capacity (measured by available freight tonne kilometers (the "AFTK")) increased by 24.5% year-on-year and 9.9% month-on-month. Cargo and mail traffic (measured by revenue freight tonne kilometers (the "RFTK")) increased by 3.3% year-on-year and increased by 11.3% month-on-month. The cargo load factor was 36.4%, representing a year-on-year decrease of 7.5 percentage points and a month-on-month increase of 0.5 percentage point.
In November 2020, the Group introduced one ARJ21 aircraft. As at the end of November 2020, the Group operated
a fleet of 704 aircrfaft, including 293 self-owned aircraft, 209 aircraft under finance lease and 202 aircraft under operating lease.
