                         CHANGE OF QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT


The board of directors (the 'Board') of Air China Limited (the 'Company')
announces that Mr. Chan Wei Kwong, Joel ('Mr. Chan') has resigned as the
qualified accountant of the Company with effect from 12 November 2005 and that
Mr. David Tze-kin Ng ('Mr. Ng') was appointed as the qualified accountant of
the Company to take up the vacancy left by Mr. Chan on 15 November 2005. Mr.
Chan has confirmed to the Board that there is no disagreement with the Board and
that there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of the Board
and the shareholders of the Company.

Mr. Ng, aged 56, is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public
Accountants. Mr. Ng has 30 years experience in the accountancy field.

The Board wishes to take this opportunity to express its gratitude to Mr. Chan
for his contributions to the Company during his term of service and its warmest
welcome to Mr. Ng to join the Company.
