Departure of Technical Director (Mining)
Alba Mineral Resources plc (AIM: ALBA), the diversified mineral exploration and development company, announces that Howard Baker has stepped down from his role as the Company's Technical Director (Mining) with effect from 28 April 2020 in order to devote more time to his mining consultancy practice.
George Frangeskides, Executive Chairman, commented: "Howard has been an important member of our technical team since he joined us in late 2017. During his time with us, he devised and managed our drilling programmes at Thule Black Sands, Clogau and Limerick. I would like to thank Howard for his significant contribution to the Company over the past two and a half years and wish him every success in his future endeavours."
Alba remains very well-placed in terms of ongoing geological support across its mining project portfolio, having built important ongoing relationships over the past several years with a number of internationally reputable consulting geological firms and individuals. The Company is not presently seeking to appoint a new Technical Director (Mining), however any material developments in that regard will be announced as and when they arise.
