Alba Mineral Resources PLC 27 March 2007 Alba Mineral Resources Plc ('Alba' or the 'Company') Directorate Change Dr C. Jay Hodgson (aged 71), non-executive Director of Alba Mineral Resources plc has resigned from the Board on 23 March 2007 to concentrate on other business interests. Dr. Hodgson will, however, retain a role with the Company as a consultant on regional exploration strategy and other technical matters. Precious- and base- metal properties in Ireland and Scotland will continue to form part of the company portfolio and will be carried forward on a timely basis, with a view to seeking joint ventures on each where warranted.
