Issue of Equity

Albion Development VCT plc (the "Company") announces that, further to
the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme  introduced by the Company  (details
of which were set  out in the Circular  issued to shareholders on  27
August 2008), the  Company today allotted  99,675 Ordinary shares  of
50p each (the "New Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the  Company.
The "New Ordinary Shares" were issued at a price of 75.2p, comprising
the net asset value at 30 June 2009 less the dividend of 4 pence  per
Ordinary share declared on 20 August 2009.

Accordingly, application has  been made to  the UK Listing  Authority
for the admission of the New Ordinary Shares to the Official List  of
the  UK  Listing  Authority  and  to  trading  on  the  London  Stock
Exchange's main market for listed securities and it is expected  that
dealings will commence on 28 September 2009. The New Ordinary  Shares
will rank  pari passu  in  all respects  with the  existing  Ordinary
shares in issue.

Following the issue of the New Ordinary Shares the Company will  have
32,713,157 Ordinary shares in issue.

In conformity with the  Transparency Directive's provisions we  would
like to notify the market of the following:

Albion  Development  VCT  PLC's  capital  as  at  25  September  2009
consisted of 32,713,157 Ordinary  shares. Albion Development VCT  PLC
holds 2,965,053 Ordinary shares in treasury.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in Albion Development VCT
PLC is 29,748,104.

The  figure  of  29,748,104  may  be  used  by  shareholders  as  the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they
are required  to notify  their  interest in,  or  a change  to  their
interest in, Albion  Development VCT PLC  under the FSA's  Disclosure
and Transparency rules.
