SHARE PURCHASE, VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

Albion Development VCT PLC announces that it has today purchased 35,350 Ordinary
shares  at  a  price  of  65.5 pence  per  share.  The Ordinary shares purchased
represent  0.10% of the total number of voting  rights in the Company before the
transaction. These shares will be held in treasury.
Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive's
transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following;

Albion  Development  VCT  PLC's  capital  today  consists of 32,713,157 Ordinary
shares  and  5,960,130 D  shares,  both  with  a nominal value of 50p each, with
voting  rights with a nominal value of 50p each, with voting rights. The Company
holds 3,244,076 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore,  the total number of  voting rights in Albion  Development VCT PLC is
35,429,211, which  may  be  used  by  shareholders  as  the  denominator for the
calculations  by which they will determine if  they are required to notify their
interest in, or change to their interest in Albion Development VCT PLC under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
