21 May 2010 Albion Technology & General VCT plc Issue of Equity Albion Technology & General VCT plc (the "Company") announces that, further to the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme introduced by the Company (details of which were set out in the Circular issued to shareholders on 18 April 2008), the Company today allotted 33,738 Ordinary shares of 50p each (the "New Ordinary shares") and 57,168 C ordinary shares of 50p each (the "New C ordinary shares") in the capital of the Company.  The New Ordinary shares were issued at a price of 88.7p, comprising the net asset value at 31 December 2009 less the dividend of 4 pence per Ordinary share.  The New C ordinary shares were issued at a price of 71.2p, comprising the net asset value at 31 December 2009 less the dividend of 1.5 pence per C ordinary share. Accordingly, application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of the New Ordinary shares and the New C ordinary shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities and it is expected that dealings will commence on 24 May 2010. The New Ordinary shares and New C ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary and C ordinary shares in issue. Following the issue of the New Ordinary and New C ordinary shares, Albion Technology & General VCT PLC's capital as at 21 May 2010 consists of 13,735,783 ordinary shares and 35,714,640 C ordinary shares. Albion Technology & General VCT PLC holds 868,094 Ordinary shares and 1,417,032 C shares in Treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Albion Technology & General VCT PLC is 47,165,297 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Albion Technology & General VCT PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
