The Board of Close Technology & General VCT PLC announces that the unaudited net
asset values of the Ordinary Shares and the C Shares as at 30 September 2006
amounted to approximately 115.1 pence (excluding treasury shares) and 95.0 pence
respectively.



This is before accounting for the dividends of 4 pence per Ordinary share and
0.5 pence per C share paid on 3 November 2006.
