The Board of Close Technology & General VCT PLC announces that the unaudited net
asset value of the Company at 31 October 2005 amounted to approximately 115.1
pence per share, after the payment of the first interim dividend (4 pence per
share paid on 14 July 2005) and after accruing for the second interim dividend
(4 pence per share paid on 4 November 2005).
