Alliance Pharma plc, the emerging speciality pharmaceutical company, today
announced the resignation of Steven Harris from the position of Non Executive
Director owing to a conflict of interest arising from Steven's recent
appointment as Chief Financial Officer of Medeus Pharma Ltd.



John Dawson, CEO of Alliance Pharma commented:



'Although Steven had only been with us a few months, he made an invaluable
contribution and, notwithstanding the competitive situation, we wish him well
for the future.  We shall be aiming to replace Steven with someone of comparable
stature and track record.'
