Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the speciality pharmaceutical company, announces that Dr Mark Tomlinson, the Company's Medical Director, has informed the Board of his intention to leave Alliance in July 2009 to pursue another opportunity.

Michael Gatenby, Alliance Pharma's Chairman, said: 'On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Mark for his contribution to the Company and wish him well for the future.'
