                        PEERLESS TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC

The company announces that it was notified on 27 June 2002 that Redmayne
(Nominees) Limited ('Redmayne'), acquired on 20 June 2002 interests in an
additional 18,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the company, resulting in
Redmayne becoming interested in aggregate in 453,000 ordinary shares,
representing 3.02 per cent of the company's current issued ordinary share
capital. Mr John Swingewood is interested in these ordinary shares for the
purposes of sections 208 and 209 of the Companies Act 1985.
