Dividend Declaration

Alliance Trust PLC announces the declaration of a third interim dividend for the year ending 31 December 2015 of 2.5325 pence per share payable on 31 December 2015 to shareholders on the register on 4 December 2015. The ex-dividend date is 3 December 2015.

The dividend is in line with that indicated in our Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2014. In the absence of any unforeseen developments, the Board expects to be able to recommend a final interim dividend of at least that amount, payable on or around 31 March 2016.

The Directors also announce a special dividend for the year ended 31 December 2015 of 1.46326 pence per share. This dividend is also payable on 31 December 2015 to shareholders on the register on 4 December 2015. The ex-dividend date is 3 December 2015. This special dividend is paid from the receipt of £8m from the winding up of one of the Company's subsidiaries as previously indicated in our Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2014.
