The following information is given pursuant to the requirements of paragraph
9.6.13 and 9.6.14 of the Listing Rules.
Dr. Christopher Masters, a non-executive director of Alliance Trust PLC, on
28th February 2007 ceased to be a Director of SMG PLC.
