Dividend Declaration

Alliance Trust PLC announces the declaration of a third interim dividend for the year ending 31 December 2012 of 2.3175 pence per share, payable on 31 December 2012 to shareholders on the register on 30 November 2012. The ex-dividend date is 28 November 2012.

The dividend is in line with that indicated in our Annual Report and Accounts for the period ended 31 December 2011. In the absence of any unforeseen developments, the Board expects to be able to recommend a fourth interim dividend of at least that amount, payable on or around 2 April 2013.
