The issuer has made the following amendment to the Additional Listing
announcement released yesterday at 17.16 under RNS No 0263S.

In the first paragraph, the wording 'and the UK Listing Authority' was omitted. 
In the third paragraph, the wording the 'UK Listing Authority' was omitted.
The nominal value of the shares is 25p and not 5p as originally shown.

FINSBURY TECHNOLOGY TRUST PLC
ADDITIONAL LISTING

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange 'and the UK Listing
Authority' for a listing of 300,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p each fully paid to be
admitted to the Official List. The new shares will rank pari passu with the
existing Ordinary Shares.

These shares were issued for cash on 28 September 2000 at a price of 607.25p per
share. The estimated net asset value per Ordinary share at the close of business
on 27 September 2000 was 567.43p.
