                            Resignation of Director

The Board announces that Dr David Potter who has been a Director of the Company
since 1995, has resigned with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General
Meeting held earlier today.

On behalf of the Board, the Chairman thanked Dr David Potter for the significant
contribution that he made to the success of the Company over the years.
