Directorate Change - Appointment and Retirement

The Board of Allianz Technology Trust plc ("ATT") is pleased to announce the appointment of Humphrey van der Klugt to the Board of ATT as non-executive director with effect from 1 July 2015.

Humphrey is a very experienced investment manager and investment company director.  He is currently Chairman of Fidelity European Values Plc and a director of JPM Claverhouse Investment Trust Plc and previously served as a director of trusts managed by BlackRock and Aberdeen.  He retired from a long and distinguished career as a fund manager and senior executive at Schroders in 2004 having initially qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co (now KPMG) in 1979.

Humphrey will be a member of the Audit Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Management Engagement Committee on appointment.

The Board also confirms that Chris Martin will be retiring as a Director of the Company with effect from 15 July 2015.  The Board would like to express their gratitude to Chris for the significant contribution he has made over the past 12 years.

There are no other details requiring disclosure in respect of this appointment in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13.
