RCM Technology Trust PLC announces that on 11 January 2008 it purchased 130,000
Ordinary 25p Shares (representing 0.55% of the issued class of capital) at 242p
per Ordinary Share, for cancellation.

Settlement and cancellation of the purchased 130,000 Ordinary Shares is due on
16 January 2008 when the issued share capital of the Trust will fall to
23,629,312 Ordinary 25p Shares.

The Company does not currently hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
