RCM Technology Trust PLC announces that on 19 December 2008 it purchased, to be held in treasury, 102,000 Ordinary Shares at 182.18p per share (representing 0.43% of the issued ordinary capital).

Settlement of the purchased 102,000 Ordinary Shares is due on 24 December 2008.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of the 102,000 Ordinary Shares, the total number of Treasury Shares held by the Company will be 172,400. The issued share capital of the Company, less the total number of Ordinary Shares held in Treasury, will be 23,364,849 Ordinary 25p Shares.
