Alpha FX Group plc
("Alpha FX" or the "Group")
Notice of General Meeting and Proposed Name Change
Alpha FX Group plc (AIM:AFX), a high-tech, high-touch provider of financial solutions dedicated to corporates and institutions operating internationally, is pleased to share details of an upcoming General Meeting ("GM").
The purpose of the General Meeting is to seek shareholder approval to effect a change in the name of the Company to Alpha Group International plc. The Company also proposes to change the TIDM to "ALPH". There will be no changes to the Company's ISIN.
This name change reflects the Company's evolution from being solely a provider of foreign exchange or "FX" solutions, to a company that now provides a wider (and growing) range of financial solutions to corporates and institutions. Whilst the Company and its group has consistently communicated under the shorthand of "Alpha" for a number of years, and will continue to do so, the change will ensure there is now consistency across all touchpoints.
The Company's GM will be held at its UK office, Brunel Building, Canalside Walk, London, England, W2 1DG on 22 November 2022 at 09:00 a.m. (Greenwich Mean Time) and an electronic copy of the formal Notice of GM will be available shortly on the Investor Relations section of the Company's website ( www.alphafx.co.uk ).
In connection with the GM, the following documents have been posted or made available to shareholders today:
1. Notice of the 2022 General Meeting; and
2. Proxy forms for the 2022 General Meeting.
