In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provisions, Alpha
Pyrenees Trust Limited (the 'Company') would like to notify the market that, as
of 19 December 2006, the total number of ordinary shares of no par value with
voting rights is 127,500,000.



The above figure (127,500,000) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations, by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company, under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
