In February 2009 Mr. Sowerby became a director of C J Garland & Co. Limited ("CJG"), a UK based contact centre serving the telecom sector, at the request of consultants acting for CJG's bank. He was tasked with managing the reduction of approximately £6 million of debt and the renegotiation of leases, both of which were achieved. In early 2010, CJG's clients started to migrate their business offshore and as a result, administrators were appointed in May 2010. CJG was liquidated in February 2013 with a shortfall of approximately £3.5 million.
Mr. Sowerby has confirmed that there is no further information to disclose in accordance with Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
