Hambledon was advised today that Framlington Investment Management Limited
('Framlington') had purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company.

Following the above acquisition, Framlington is now interested in a total of
7,000,000 ordinary shares, representing 3.5 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.

Framlington's interest in the share capital of Hambledon is held in the name of
HSBC Nominees Ltd A/C 811664.
