This announcement replaces the announcement made on 12 December 2016 at 5.54pm for the issue of equity.  The number of Ordinary shares issued and therefore the shares in issue following the allotment was incorrect.

Top Up Offer for subscription of New Ordinary shares of 5p each (the "Offer")

Amati VCT 2 plc announces an allotment on 12 December 2016 of 464,932 New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Offer.  In accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Offer, the Offer price at which New Ordinary Shares were allotted, which was calculated by reference to the net asset value of an ordinary Share on 8 December 2016, was a price of 116.27p per ordinary share (net asset value divided by 0.99 to allow for issue costs of 1.0 per cent).

Following the correction, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue at 12 December 2016 was 32,362,975 with voting rights.

On 30 January 2017 the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 32,205,075 with voting rights.
