PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

The Company announces that on 16 December 2011 it purchased 118,991 ordinary shares for cancellation. The price paid was 83.2p per ordinary share.

Following the cancellation of these shares there are 27,887,590 ordinary shares in issue.
