PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

The Company announces that on 16 December 2011 it purchased 411,352 ordinary shares for cancellation. The price paid was 95.75p per ordinary share.

Following the cancellation of these shares there are 27,476,238 ordinary shares in issue.
