PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

The Company announces that on 3 February 2012 it purchased 446,732 ordinary shares for cancellation. The price paid was 102.45p per ordinary share.

Following the cancellation of these shares there are 27,196,936 ordinary shares in issue.
