Aminex PLC confirms the retirement of Peter Elwes as Chairman and Director of
the Company with immediate effect.



Derek Tughan, the Senior Non-Executive Director, will now serve as Chairman of
the Company.



Brian Hall, Chief Executive Officer, said:



"I would like to thank Peter for the significant contribution he has made to
Aminex PLC during his ten years as Chairman and Director of the Company.  He has
overseen a period of considerable change for the Company and I wish him well in
his retirement."
