Aminex PLC ("the Company") announces that it has been notified today that
Persistency is the beneficial owner of 11,638,000 Ordinary Shares of €0.06 each
which represents 5.18% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Persistency is also the beneficial owner of 887,500 warrants exercisable into
Ordinary Shares at Stg 34 pence and 3,750,000 warrants exercisable into Ordinary
Shares at Stg 22 pence.
